COMKFOR met with the Minister for European Union Affairs of Hungary

PRISTINA - Major General Enrico Barduani, KFOR Commander, met with the Minister for European Union Affairs of Hungary, His Excellency János Bóka at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp Film City in Pristina.

They exchanged views on various topics, including on KFOR's activities under its UN mandate and its ongoing security efforts in support to the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.

Major General Barduani also congratulated with Minister Bóka for HUN’s long-standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
