COMKFOR met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Republic of Croatia

PRISTINA - KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Republic of Croatia, His Excellency Ivan Anušić, at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp Film City in Pristina.

They discussed views on various topics, including KFOR’s steadfast commitment to support all efforts by the International Community, for the benefit of lasting security across Kosovo and regional stability.

Major General Barduani congratulated with Deputy Prime Minister Anušić for HRV’s long-standing contributions to KFOR and to regional stability.

The Deputy Prime Minister Anušić also visited the Croatian contingent deployed with KFOR Regional Commander West, and thanked them for their commitment and valuable contribution to KFOR’s efforts.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
