COMKFOR delivered a speech in University of Pristina

Pristina - KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, delivered a speech in an event organized by Gender Advisor Office at the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina”, with a special focus on “The role of NATO-led KFOR mission”.

In his address, Major General Barduani provided an overview of NATO and KFOR's background before elaborating on KFOR’s mission, goals, tasks, and priorities. He emphasized the significance of unity, aligning it with his motto as COM KFOR, "Unitas Omnia Vincit" – "Unity of people wins all."

“Dear students, the future is in your hands, only you have the mind-set and ultimately the power to contribute to the solution of the pending issues that still need to be overcome to ensure lasting peace and security for all in Kosovo", concluded the KFOR's Commander.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission on Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
