Brigadier General Federico Bernacca Presides Over Armenian Contingent Change of Command and Medal Parade at KFOR HQ

The Deputy Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Brigadier General Federico Bernacca, presided over the Medal Parade and ceremony of the Change of Command of the Armenian contingent, held at KFOR Headquarters, in Camp “Film City,” in Pristina.

The outgoing Commander, Captain Vardan Amiryan from Armenian army, handed over the command to the incoming Commander, Captain Volodya Galstyan.

Brigadier General Bernacca expressed his appreciation to Colonel Captain Amiryan for his leadership and services, highlighting the high levels of readiness and professionalism displayed by Armenian personnel. He also wished Captain Galstyan a successful tenure.

Armenian soldiers were honoured with the non-Article 5 NATO medal, in recognition of their contributions to the KFOR mission.
