PRISTINA - KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc KAJÁRI presided over the Hungarian KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) Transfer of Authority held at Camp Novo Selo.

During the event, General KAJÁRI emphasized: “Members of the Tactical Reserve Battalion, the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Battalion and soldiers of the Liaison and Monitoring Team have all faced the many challenges of the past year successfully. All of you did an exemplary job, and maintained your duty with integrity, honor and selfless service. You have managed to uphold the proud traditions that exemplified the reliability of Hungarian soldiers.”

In his speech Com KFOR praised the outgoing KTRBN Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Colonel Szabolcs RÁCZ, for his excellent job in the past six months and thanked his professionalism and support. Concluding, General KAJÁRI wished Lieutenant Colonel Sándor HORVÁTH, incoming commander of the KTRBN, a period of successful employment in KFOR.

The Transfer of Authority is an important ceremony for all units, it implies taking on the responsibility of the mission assigned.
