CIMIC team donated wildfire fighting equipment

PRISTINA - The NATO-led Kosovo Force KFOR Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) team donated wildfire fighting equipment to the Novobërdë/Novo Brdo Fire Station in the village of Bostane.

This equipment will greatly enhance their capabilities and enable them to better respond to wild fires that effect the entire population of the Bostane village.

KFOR CIMIC Liaison Officer, Lt. Colonel Girts SAVINS, the Fire Chief of Bostane, Ivan RISTIC, the Director of Public Service, Gafure VLASALIU and all of the Fire Station members attended the donation ceremony.

The project was initiated by the KFOR Regional Command East, K18 Liaison and Monitoring Team.
