The Alpini Band of the Taurinense Brigade performed a musical in KFOR HQ

PRISTINA -The Alpini Band of the Taurinense Brigade (Italian army), performed a musical with messages of peace and tolerance in KFOR HQ, for military commanders and representatives from the Institutions in Kosovo.

The roaming musical tour of the Taurinense band will continue with four concerts in various cities of Kosovo (Ferizaj/Urosevac, Peja/Pec, Prizren, Pristina-Film City), which will be held in accordance with all Covid-19 preventative measures, starting from - Saturday 9 October until Friday 15. The performance titled "thanks Kosovo community", is the homage with which the Commander of KFOR, General Franco Federici wishes to greet all the communities in Kosovo as he approaches the end of his mandate and includes songs from Italian and international musical traditions.

The Fanfare will also perform unpublished works. As usual, the concerts will end on the notes of the March of the Alpini and the Italian Anthem. The Taurinense Band, for the occasion will be composed of 30 musicians and its repertoire, - in addition to military ordinance music - also symphonic and light pieces with a particular focus on the original repertoire for band. The musical ensemble will be involved in the KFOR Commander's engagement ceremony on Friday 15 October.
