KFOR DONATED TO THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF KOSOVO

PRISTINA - KFOR MSU Carabinieri CIMIC Team concluded the Italian-funded project to improve the means and capabilities of Kosovar schools by donating  22 interactive whiteboards through the Ministry of Education and Science.

The delivery of the last interactive whiteboard took place at the “Tehnicka Scuola” in North Mitrovica, and was attended by the Commander of KFOR MSU, Colonel Enio SIMONE, along with the Director of the school Mr. Radovan TANIC and the incoming MSU Commander Colonel Stefano FEDELE.

The donation of the multimedia boards aims to facilitate the teachers to visualize the topics of the lessons and create an immediate interaction with students. In the same time, it makes the conditions for better learning, improving the educational standards of the schools.

Many students also attended the distribution and had the opportunity to try out the new equipment.

Colonel Simone reaffirmed KFOR’s impartial commitment to support all institutions in Kosovo that work for the coexistence and cooperation among all ethnic groups, with special focus on the education of young generations.
