PRISTINA - COMKFOR, Major General Franco Federici, presided over the Change of Command ceremony, held at the KFOR HQ, of the Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) between Colonel Jürgen Jäger, outgoing, and Colonel Georg Podlipny, incoming.

The deputy head of the Austrian Diplomatic Mission to Kosovo, Mr. Martin Schaller also attended the ceremony.

COMKFOR, during his speech, remarked on "the extraordinary professionalism, effort willingness and discipline, in accordance to the KFOR motto “as one we progress”" , disclosed by the Joint Logistic Support Group in managing a variety of assets and capabilities, and in providing theatre-level logistic support. The Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) is composed of personnel from 17 Nations working in KFOR HQ and in subordinate units. During the past six months, many activities have been conducted, such as to plan, execute and synchronize movements, transportation, airport operations, resource management, engineering support, Explosive Ordnance Disposal responses, and supply and fuel delivery.
