Pristina - COMKFOR, Major General Franco Federici welcomed the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Agim Veliu to Camp Film City.

During the meeting, Major General Federici and Mr. Veliu discussed the overall security situation in Kosovo, which they assessed as calm and stable.
Among other things, Minister Veliu highlighted that KFOR through its presence, is proficient to guarantee a safe and secure environment Kosovo wide. They also outlined the trust and the excellent cooperation and collaboration among the respective institutions and how this can be enhanced in the future.

COMKFOR expressed his appreciation for the increased capabilities of Kosovo Police and for professionally fulfilling its role as the first security responder in Kosovo. Additionally, General Federici said that KFOR remains fully committed to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo and that the open co-operation between the security institutions in Kosovo will continue.
