RC-East HELPS WITH UJQ SOCCER FIELD GRAND OPENING

Pristina- KFOR supported the Non-Government Organization "UJQ" in the town of Runik/Rudink with building and opening a Soccer field. 

UJQ organization's goal is building multi-ethnic soccer teams in Kosovo, moving children from the streets to the soccer fields. The league is made up of children from 13 villages in the Runik/Rudink area, from seven to 23 years of age. Slovenian Soldiers of Liaison Monitor Team K15 worked with UJQ president Mr. Mexid Halilaj since 20017 to get the soccer field built. 

The US-led Regional Command-East is regularly performing its mission is to contribute to the safety and security and ensuring freedom of movement in its area of operations, while supporting local communities with civil-military cooperation projects.
