PRISTINA - The new basketball court of Plementina/Plemetin – shared between “Pandeli Sotir” and “Sveti Sava”primary schools - was inaugurated today by the two principals and local authorities of Obiliq/Obilic along with Swedish, US and Swiss soldiers of KFOR. The court was refurbished thanks to a civil-military cooperation project funded by NATO and finalized by KFOR Regional Command East. Backboards, nets and basketballs were also donated by KFOR to allow pupils to perform outdoor sports properly.

The school principals thanked Lieutenant Colonel Jonny Borjesson for the support given by KFOR to the education of children belonging to all communities living in the area. KFOR is committed to a safe and secure environment for all citizens in Kosovo and to support the Institutions in Kosovo in the fields of security, education and health. With regard to assistance, KFOR soldiers have implemented several projects which are contributing to the local response to Covid19.
