Support to Women and Children

Pristina - In a project which shows the excellent level of cooperation between national and international actors in Kosovo, KFOR, OSCE, UNMIK, the Municipality of Novoberde/Novo Brdo and the NGO Women’s Returnees Association "Our Home” came together to realise the dream of the NGO Director Mrs. Vesna Stajic of creating a safe refuge for women and children who have experienced domestic violence.

The 750m2 shelter will serve the wider Pomoravlje region and is a place where victims of gender based violence and their children are granted temporary accommodation, safety, advocacy and other necessary services.

KFOR is constantly ready to assist all of the people of Kosovo, regardless of their ethnicity, through the creation of an environment which is both safe and secure.
