KFOR practices movement on the ground


Pristina - KFOR soldiers conducted today a pre-planned exercise. Helicopters, light and armoured vehicles and dismounted troops moved throughout Kosovo in order to improve their capabilities to operate also in severe weather conditions.

To act at the highest level of preparedness, Soldiers from 28 different nations have to understand each other's skills and standard operating procedures, in order to be more effective if an emergency occurs. This exchange of competencies is a crucial benefit which allows soldiers to develop knowledge and proficiencies.

Scheduled and continuous training is essential to ensure constant operational readiness and to maintain high level capabilities among KFOR Units. KFOR soldiers are highly trained and educated, with a focus on accomplishing their mission of guaranteeing a safe and secure environment all over Kosovo.
