Pristina - After a one-year tour, the Austrian KFOR Deputy Commander Brigadier General Reinhard Ruckenstuhl has handed over the responsibility to the incoming Swiss Brigadier General Laurent Michaud.

General Reinhard Ruckenstuhl during his farewell speech expressed his gratitude and his satisfaction for all the achievements reached during this year of intense work.

He acknowledged working closely with COMKFOR and all the other members of KFOR over the last year “We stand here, side by side- said General Reinhard Ruckenstuhl - as brothers in arms to achieve mutual reconciliation paving the way for a positive onward perspective for the future”.

In reply, KFOR Commander, General Lorenzo D’Addario described outgoing DCOM as “a graceful leader, a great advisor and comrade, a man of quality, spirit commitment and determination” that supported by a great team achieved great results here in KFOR.
