Joint training: United In Commitment!


Pristina - In the middle of May the Hungarian soldiers  of KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN) organized a three-day long cross training in Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny with the Multinational Battle Group-East (US soldiers), MSU, Freedom of Movement Detachement (FoMD-2), Tactical Psyops Team (TPT) and Polish Formed Police Unit, which is part of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).

The aim of the exercise was to test mission readiness of different units in close to real situation. Tasks covered wide range of possible operational tasks such as assisting EULEX in evacuation role, manage civil disturbances, effectively employ FoMD in restoring Freedom of Movement, handling detainees, react to non-planned situations.

The trainings were aimed to improve interoperability and enhance readiness of KFOR troops in supporting safety and security for all people in Kosovo.
