Carabinieri General Commander visited KFOR

Pristina - KFOR Commander, Major General Lorenzo D’Addario, welcomed in Pristina the General Commander of Carabinieri, Lieutenant General Giovanni Nistri.

Carabinieri Commander, accompanied by COMKFOR, had the opportunity to visit the Multinational Specialised Unit base where most of his personnel are deployed. Furthermore, he discussed with General D’Addario important matters including recent developments, the situation in Kosovo, and the continuing cooperation between the units on the ground.

KFOR Commander praised the professionalism of the Carabinieri. They have a significant role in maintaining a safe and secure environment in Kosovo and their professionalism and capabilities in close cooperation with the population supports the achievement of KFOR’s mandate.
