What do KFOR Firefighters do?

Pristina - KFOR Fire Service conducted an emergency exercise to mark "Fire Prevention Week", using several realistic scenarios. This year's theme was "Look, Listen, Learn, be aware Fire can happen anywhere".

The main duties of firefighters are to help and protect KFOR personnel in emergency situations. They respond to a wide variety of calls, such as car and helicopter accidents, chemical spills, fire suppression and emergency medical intervention.

Ongoing training is an essential part of their work. KFOR Firefighters are encouraged to enhance their capabilities and knowledge to preserve relevant qualifications and training. They have to be confident, resilient, flexible, strong team members, able to think quickly under pressure and be able to communicate effectively.
