The Chief of Staff of the Italian Army visited KFOR

PRISTINA- KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore CUOCI, received the visit of General Danilo ERRICO, Italian Army Chief of Staff.

During the meeting, General ERRICO, underlined that KFOR is the mission in which Italian Army is involved since the 1999 through a great contribution in terms of troops, capabilities and expertise.

General ERRICO expressed his deep appreciation for what Italian soldiers are doing here in Kosovo day by day in performing their mission to ensure a better future for Kosovo people.

Major General CUOCI, gave a general overview about the situation in the region where, together with 28 NATO members and partners, International Community and Institutions in Kosovo, KFOR is operating to maintain a safe and secure environment and guarantee the freedom of movement in accordance with its mandate.

General ERRICO wished all the best to Major General CUOCI in achieving the mission and, on the other hand, KFOR Commander thanked him for the visit and ensured the "ENDURING COMMITMENT” as stated in the motto.
