Polish Minister of Defence visited KFOR
Pristina - KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore CUOCI, welcomed the Polish Minister of Defence, Mr. Mariusz BLASZCZAK and his delegation for a visit in Camp Film City, Pristina.
Before moving to Camp Novo Selo, where he planned to meet his national contingent, Mr. BLASZCZAK took the opportunity to discuss with COMKFOR about the developments of the situation in Kosovo. Furthermore, they spoke about the role of the Kosovo Force and General CUOCI, in particular, expressed his appreciation for the continuous commitment of Polish contingent to the mission. He highlighted the professionalism, dedication and the commitment of the soldiers in performing their duty.
Poland has been present in KFOR since 1999. The Polish contingent continues to provide a valuable contribution to KFOR as part of Multinational Battle Group East, and with personnel also serving in the KFOR HQ.
