MSU Change of Command

Pristina- KFOR Commander, General Salvatore CUOCI presided over the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) Transfer of Authority in Pristina. During the ceremony Colonel Ruggiero CAPODIVENTO took over the duty of commanding officer from Colonel Marco DI STEFANO.

Colonel Di Stefano, who has commanded since September 2017, led the implementation of several sensitive operations in critical areas and carried out tasks in training and mentoring the Kosovo Security Forces and the Kosovo Police.

"Immense experience, impressive professionalism, constant dedication and brilliant operational skills” were the words that General CUOCI used in his speech to underline the leadership qualities that Colonel DI STEFANO showed in leading his unit and in guiding them towards the realization of "outstanding achievements”.

At the end of his speech COMKFOR wished all the best for the outgoing MSU Commander Col. DI STEFANO’S future career and noted that the transfer of responsibilities is in the "very capable hands” of the new commanding officer Colonel CAPODIVENTO.
