COMKFOR paid an official visit in Skopje
Pristina - KFOR Commander, General CUOCI held today separate meetings with the FYROM* Minister of Defence
Radmila ŠEKERINSKA and the Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Lieutenant General
They discussed about the security situation in the region and the excellent cooperation established
between FYROM* and KFOR stating that the mission’s presence is of great importance for the
security and stability of the entire region.
During the one-day visit in Skopje, the delegation visited also the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The cooperation with KFOR is expressed through the Host Country Coordination Support Centre,
established in June 2007, which is tasked to coordinate with KFOR customs and border transport
procedures, including KFOR’s other needs for logistical security and medical evacuation.
As KFOR commander, General CUOCI periodically meet the Chiefs of Defense of the countries
bordering the KFOR Area of Responsibility to increase dialogue and mutual military
