COMKFOR met the Albanian Chief of Defence

Pristina - COMKFOR, Major General Lorenzo D’Addario met in KFOR HQ the Albanian Chief of Defence, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku, as part of the periodic talks with countries neighbouring the KFOR Area of Responsibility.

The meeting between General D’Addario and General Kollçaku was the occasion to discuss the overall security situation in Kosovo. Both confirmed the mutual support and commitment in maintaining stability, underlining the importance of communication and dialogue.

General Kollçaku highlighted the role of the NATO mission in Kosovo, led by General D’Addario, in the stability of the whole region. COMKFOR took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the professionalism and the dedication of the Albanian contingent deployed in KFOR.
