COMKFOR met President Hashim THACi

Pristina - KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore CUOCI met President Hashim THAÇI.

During the meeting President THAÇI thanked General CUOCI, who will complete soon his mandate in Kosovo, for leading KFOR with professionalism, for his attention to the developments in Kosovo and the Balkan region, and also expressed his appreciation for the way COM KFOR has cooperated with all Institutions in Kosovo.

General CUOCI emphasised the efforts made by KFOR, during twelve months of his mandate, to remain committed to the mission in order to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all citizens in Kosovo and to continue maintaining good relations and cooperation with Institutions in Kosovo.

At the end of the meeting President THAÇI decorated Major General Salvatore CUOCI with the Military Medal for Service in Kosovo.
