Basic first aid course for women held in KFOR HQ

Pristina - From 24th to 25th October, KFOR hosted in Camp Film City, a basic first aid course for 12 women belonging to Action for Mothers and Children (AMC) organization.

The course, organized by the KFOR Joint Regional Detachment South East and conducted by KFOR ROLE 1 medics and paramedics, included basic principles, such as learning how to do a cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to use an adhesive bandage or applying direct pressure on a bleeding wound.

The AMC association was founded in 2009, with the simple goal to save the lives of mothers and their children in Kosovo and it has been at the forefront of the battle to bring infant mortality rate down.

KFOR encourages and continues to support the development of a stable and peaceful Kosovo and it is performing its mission to ensure a better future, with special regards to the youth.
