UK Minister for Armed Forces visited KFOR


PRISTINA -  KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore CUOCI, received the visit of Hon. Mark LANCASTER, UK Minister of State for the Armed Forces.

Mr. LANCASTER, who was part of UK troops in Kosovo in 1999, highlighted the importance of NATO’s presence for a stable and secure region for the benefit of wider European security and stability.

Major General CUOCI expressed the appreciation for the commitment and professionalism of the UK soldiers and highlighted the importance of their presence in the region where KFOR contributes to maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement, in accordance with its current mandate.

The Ministry Mark LANCASTER thanked General CUOCI believing that KFOR XXII, through its "ENDURING COMMITMENT”, will continue to fulfill its mission professionally and in accordance with its mandate.
