The Finnish Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics and Armaments, visits KFOR HQ

PRISTINA, April 25th – KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, welcomed the Finnish Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics and Armaments, Lieutenant General Kyösti Juhani HALONEN, and the Finnish Ambassador to Kosovo, H.E. Anne HUHTAMÄKI, at KFOR HQ on Tuesday.

COMKFOR expressed his gratitude for the valuable and professional contribution of Finnish contingent in accomplishing several tasks, within the KFOR HQ and the Joint Regional Detachment Centre. Furthermore, General FUNGO wished a durable Finnish contribution to KFOR mission.

Before visiting the HQ, General HALONEN inspected the Finnish troops deployed in Drenas, as Liaison and Monitoring Team (LMT).
