The British Chief of Joint Operations visits KFOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo – On Wednesday, April 26th , Lieutenant General Sir John LORIMER, Chief of Joint Operations of the British Permanent Joint HQ, was welcomed by COMKFOR, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, at KFOR HQ.

During a 4-eye meeting, the overall security situation in the region was discussed. General FUNGO expressed his appreciation for the recent deployment of a British Army unit in the region, within KFOR.

On Thursday, General LORIMER will inspect the British forces deployed in the northern area of the region to perform operational tasks, in accordance with the UNSC Resolution 1244 mandate.
