Polish Minister of National Defence visited KFOR HQ

PRISTINA. The Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland, Antoni MACIEREWICZ, on Tuesday, Apr. 11th, paid a visit to KFOR HQ where he was greeted by COMKFOR, Major General Giovanni FUNGO.

KFOR Commander expressed his gratitude for the significant and professional contribution of the Polish contingent to KFOR mission.

The Minister confirmed the intention to continue providing troops to KFOR due to the importance that the NATO mission has for stability in the whole region.

Poland is currently contributing to KFOR with a contingent of almost 250 personnel, employed in all relevant assets that compose the Force.
