MNBG-W conducted a Mountain Training March

Pristina - KFOR Multinational Battle Group – West (MNBG-W) platoon-size units belonging to Austrian, Italian, Moldovan and Slovenian contingents conducted a training march in a mountain area near Belo Polje during the past few days.

The activity was held in order to increase the capability to respond rapidly and effectively to potential threats that may arise in a mountain environment. The mountain march is part of a three-day cross training session that included Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) activities as well as shooting exercises to enhance the overall interoperability of the units.

MNBG-W manoeuver units are constantly involved in training activities in order to maintain their effectiveness and readiness to intervene, as the third responder, to ensure freedom of movement and maintain a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
