MEETING WITH THE DEPUTY MAYOR OF SKENDERAJ

12 January 2017 Skenderaj.

Today, Kosovo Force Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, visited Skenderaj Municipality and met the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Fadil Nura, in the City Hall of the town, accompanied by Col. Francesco Randacio, the Joint Regional Detachment (JRD-C) Center commander.

During the meeting they discussed the current security and social situation in Kosovo with a specific focus on the area of this Municipality.

The mayor addressed COMKFOR expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the impartial and effective posture of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all the people of Kosovo.

This kind of activity contributes significantly to improve the relationships among all the communities of the area but also to enhance KFOR’s credibility with the local population.
