KFOR KTM donated supplies in Obiliq and Babimoc schools

On March 21, the Portuguese Contingent of the KFOR Tactical Manoeuvre Battalion (KTM) conducted a Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activity.

School supplies, clothing, toys and oral hygiene material were donated to the "Pandeli Sotiri” School (Kosovo Albanian and RAE community) located in the Municipality of Obiliq and to the "Milan Rakiq” School (Kosovo Serb community) located in the Municipality of Babimoc.

In addition to the material donation, the KTM Medical Officer presented an explanation regarding the benefits and importance of maintaining oral hygiene care. The beneficiaries of the donation were 378 students. Most part of the material was provided by Portuguese Institutions, in order to support the local community.

This activity was developed within the framework of Portuguese Contingent CIMIC actions and was organized in close cooperation with Joint Regional Detachment – Center (JRD-C) and Liaison Monitoring Team (LMT).
