KFOR Headquarters Support Group marked Change of Command ceremony

Pristina – The Headquarters Support Group (HSG) Change of Command ceremony took place at the presence of KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, on Tuesday, May 2nd . Once again, the Irish Defence Forces confirmed their contribution as the head of the HSG, Colonel Brian MONAHAN, handed over command to Colonel Brendan DELANEY.

Addressing the troops, KFOR Deputy Commander, Brigadier General Christian RIENER expressed his satisfaction for the outstanding leadership shown by Colonel MONAHAN who was awarded the NATO non-article 5 Service Medal. Furthermore, he wished the best to the incoming Commander, Colonel Brendan DELANEY, who will lead the HSG for the next six months.
