KFOR EXERCISE SILVER SABRE 2017-1

Pristina, Kosovo. Today in KFOR HQ Camp Film City DCOM KFOR Brigadier General Christian Riener brought to an end the first part of the Exercise Silver Sabre 2017-1.

The aim of this KFOR lead Exercise was to train all the security providers in Kosovo wide scenarios, both in planning and in the execution phases in order to harmonize and improve responsiveness in crisis management.

Representatives of KP, EULEX, KSF and KFOR took part to the role play that was leading by Kosovo Emergency Management Agency which is responsible to support citizens and first responders in preparing, protecting, and recovering from all possible risks be that natural or caused by human factor.

DCOM KFOR Brigadier General Christian Riener representing KFOR Commander Major General Giovanni Fungo, thanked all participants for their valued feedback, cooperation and engagement in what was a long, challenging and fruitful exercise week.
