KFOR Danish Contingent donation to school for children with special needs


KFOR Danish Contingent, coordinated by Joint Regional Detachment North, made a donation of 4000€ to "Kosovski Bozur” school for children with special needs, in Mitrovica, on May 4 th . The donation will cover the expenses of a physical recovery trip to Montenegro seaside. Deputy Commander of KFOR, Brigadier General Christian RIENER, and Principal Executive officer of Mitrovica North Municipality, Mrs. Adrijana HODZIC, attended the small ceremony.

The ceremony opened with a small video of the school and then the children made a performance of a prayer song about peace and love all around the world.

"It is my duty to find good people like you that can offer help” said Mrs. HODZIC addressing to KFOR representatives. "It is not the first time that KFOR supports the right thing and this proves that we can have a good cooperation,” Mrs. HODZIC added.

KFOR DCOM, Brigadier General Christian RIENER, greeted everyone on behalf of KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, saying that for him the gratitude in the eyes of the children for KFOR contribution is the best reward.

The Director of the school, Mrs. Marta POPOVIC, expressed gratitude to KFOR on behalf of the school and the children.
