KFOR: CARABINIERI MAKE SEVERAL DONATIONS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR


Pristina, 14th January 2017. Carabinieri of the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) of KFOR, this year have so far conducted a number of Civilian and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities in support of the Kosovo population.
 
In particular, on 3rd January, they delivered medical supplies to the "Sisters of Divine Love Zagreb" clinic at the village of Vitina municipality in the District of Gjilan of south-eastern Kosovo.

On 6th January, thanks to the support of Kosovo Red Cross, KFOR delivered food, clothing and footwear to the Gjilan and Vushtrri communities, who remained isolated due to of heavy snowfalls.

Finally, on 10th January, Carabinieri with the assistance of Caritas delivered food to a very poor family in the small village of Ranoc, close to Klina.

This kind of activity is part of the initiatives carried out by KFOR in favour of local population of all ethnicities, impartially and in the deepest respect for different cultures and religious beliefs.
