Italian Carabinieri Commanding General visits Kosovo

PRISTINA – On Friday, April 14th, Lieutenant General Tullio DEL SETTE, the Italian Carabinieri Commander, visited KFOR HQ.

General DEL SETTE was welcomed by Major General Giovanni FUNGO, KFOR Commander, who accompanied him to Austerlitz Bridge in Mitrovica, where the Italian Carabinieri have a primary role among KFOR Units in monitoring the situation at that location.

Following his visit to Mitrovica, General DEL SETTE conducted a visit to the Carabinieri contingent in the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) base in Pristina. The MSU is a force fully composed of Italian Carabinieri.
