HSG Transfer of Authority

PRISTINA - KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, presided over the Transfer of Authority ceremony of Headquarters Support Group (HSG) Command at KFOR HQ, Camp Film City.

During the ceremony, brief but suggestive, Colonel Brendan DELANEY, the outgoing HSG Commander, handed over the authority to Colonel Tim DALY. In front of a large group of military and civilian personnel, Deputy Commander KFOR Brigadier General János CSOMBÓK awarded Col. DELANEY with the NATO Non-Article 5 Medal.

KFOR Deputy Commander highlighted the important role of the HSG and voiced his gratitude and appreciation to the professionalism and commitment of Col. DELANEY. Then BG CSOMBÓK left the floor to the outgoing commander who thanked all the personnel who worked for him, contributing to accomplish all the tasks in the best way.

Headquarters Support Group (HSG) role is to provide real life support to Camp Film City and assigned facilities including: Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Camp Nothing Hill and Prishtinë/Priština Military Airport. Additionally they have the important role to ensure security in Camp Film City and at KFOR’s Headquarter.
