Greek Contingent’s Change of Command

PRISTINA, Kosovo. The Greek Contingent’s Change of Command ceremony took place on Tuesday, March 06th , in Camp Film City. The outgoing Greek Contingent’s Commander Maj. Argirios EFSTRADITIS was succeeded by the incoming Maj. Ioannis KALYVIOTIS.

KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, presiding over the ceremony, congratulated with the outgoing contingent for their outstanding performance and commitment in accomplishing any tasks throughout their mandate. During the event, COMKFOR delivered commendations to Greek personnel that fulfilled their duty demonstrating high professionalism and allegiance to KFOR mission.

The incoming contingent is mainly composed of Officers and NCOs serving in the 34 th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, which is stationed in Thessaloniki. All personnel has already been deployed in similar Operations, having gained fruitful experience.
