COMKFOR welcomed the Slovenian Ambassador to Kosovo

PRISTINA - KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Kosovo, H. E. Mr. Bojan BERTONCELJ, at KFOR HQ.

During the meeting, COMKFOR gave H. E. BERTONCELJ an overall picture about the security and political situation in Kosovo, noting that KFOR continues to fulfil its mandate and assists in maintaining safe and secure environment and freedom of movement.

MG FUNGO also expressed the appreciation for the commitment and professionalism of the Slovenian Contingent. Slovenia supports KFOR employing soldiers in relevant assets such as Headquarters, Multinational Battle Group West and Joint Regional Detachments North and Center.
