COMKFOR welcomed the Head of Liaison Office of Greece

PRISTINA - KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore CUOCI, received the Ambassador Constantina ATHANASSIADAU, Head of Liaison Office of Greece.

During the meeting, COMKFOR gave H. E. ATHANASSIADAU an overall picture about the security and political situation in Kosovo where Greece, as NATO member since 1952, contributes to the Kosovo Force (KFOR) which aims to maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement, as mandated by the United Nations Security Council.

Major General CUOCI had also the opportunity to express his appreciation for the professionalism, expertise and dedication of Greek soldiers.

The Ambassador ATHANASSIADAU thanked KFOR Commander while addressing her best wishes to KFOR XXII in achieving its mission.
