COMKFOR welcomed Deputy CoS Operation and Intelligence SHAPE

PRISTINA -KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, welcomed Deputy Chief Of Staff Operation and Intelligence Directorate SHAPE, Major General Scott A. KINDSVATER, at KFOR HQ.

During the visit, MG KINDSVATER and MG FUNGO spoke about the overall situation in Kosovo and Western Balkans area, with an emphasis on the important role of KFOR in this context. Moreover, KFOR Staff briefed him on the significant results achieved to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement.

Furthermore, in the two day visit, DCOS OpI, accompanied by COMKFOR, also had a very productive meeting with the NALT Director, the JRDN Commander and had the opportunity to visit the EULEX Logistic Base.

At the end of his tour, he expressed his appreciation for KFOR troops’ commitment and dedication.
