COM KFOR meets Major General Halter, Head of Swiss Armed Forces Joint Staff

Pristina. KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, met the Head of Swiss Armed Forces Joint Staff, Major General Jean- Marc Halter, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters, on March 06th .

The meeting was an occasion to discuss the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Swiss contingent to KFOR in maintaining a stable level of security throughout Kosovo.

General Fungo expressed his appreciation for the Swiss support. The high ranking Officers agreed on the importance of the role of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo under the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.
