25 students visited KFOR Camp Film City


PRISTINA, Kosovo - Twenty-five students from 10 different nations visited Camp Film City, headquarters of KFOR, on 23th February, as part of the closing activities of the Masters in EU Policies held by the University of Strasbourg.

The students, accompanied by Dr. Alexis Vahlas, Director of the Master in European Security and Polad to French Command for Joint Operations (CPOIA), were welcomed by the deputy Commander KFOR, Brigadier General Christian RIENER, who presented a comprehensive briefing on the KFOR mission, present in Kosovo since 1999, deployed to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement in accordance with the NATO Resolution 1244 and the subsequent Military technical agreement.

During the briefing, General Reiner also provided the students with a general overview of the situation in the region with special emphasis on the challenges KFOR is currently facing.

"This activity was very interesting for the students who appreciated the highly detailed presentation – stated Dr. Alexix Vahlas, who added that – the message conveyed by KFOR is positive in favour of the local and international community”.
