COMKFOR welcomed Deputy Commander of the German Armed Forces Operations Command

PRISTINA -  KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, received the official visit of the Deputy Commander of the German Armed Forces Operations Command, Major General Thorsten POSCHWATTA.

They discussed about KFOR support to NALT for the capacity building of the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) and the state of the realization of the new Medical Treatment Facility that will replace the German Military Hospital in Prizren at the end of the year. The meeting was also the occasion to share views on the security situation in Kosovo and in the region.

Finally, the two Generals greeted and COMKFOR took the opportunity to express the gratitude for the continuous contribution of Germany to KFOR’s efforts.
