WORKSHOP FOR KOSOVO POLICE OFFICERS

Pristina, November 16 th , 2016. Joint Regional Detachment Centre (JRD-C) organized the 3 rd Workshop for Kosovo police (KP) Commanders from JRD-C Area of Responsibility (AoR). The event was held in the Hollywood Centre in Camp "Film City”, NATO KFOR HQ in Pristina.

The main aim of this event was to engage a constructive dialogue regarding security issues giving the opportunity to KP Commander to discuss policing issues and priorities in their municipality, to exchange information for mutual and reciprocal understanding and to expand the cooperation opportunities between Kosovo Police and KFOR in order to create and maintain Safe and Security Environment Kosovo wide.

COM KFOR, Major General Giovanni Fungo, honoured the event with his presence and greeted the Kosovo Police Commanders expressing gratitude for the KP contribution. According to General FUNGO the close cooperation between KFOR and the Ministry of the Interior with its excellent organization has been providing excellent results. The KFOR mission motto is "Trust and Commitment"; "Trust” in each other and "Commitment” in ensuring togheter a safe and secure environment.
