VISIT OF FINNISH AMBASSADOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, KFOR Commander, received H.E. Mrs. Anne Huhtamäki, Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, at KFOR Headquarters in Camp "Film City”.

During the meeting, they discussed the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Finnish contingent to KFOR in maintaining a stable level of security throughout Kosovo.

General Miglietta remarked that KFOR’s mission remains unchanged and any future change to KFOR’s force posture will be based on careful analysis of the conditions on the ground.

Currently, Finnish troops in Kosovo are deployed within the HQ of Joint Regional Detachment – Centre, where they also provide one of the Liaison and Monitoring Teams (K9) as well as a number of KFOR HQ Staff Officers.
