THE ITALIAN SOLDIERS DONATED SPORTS EQUIPMENT TO TWO SCHOOLS IN DECAN

Decan, October 20 th 2016 – The Italian soldiers of the KFOR (Multinational Battle Group West) performed a donation of equipment in favor of the schools " Kuvendi the Verrave you Llukes "and" Deshmoret and Vokshit "of the village of Lluka and Eperme.

The sports material donated by Italian contingent will improve the education capabilities to the local communities through the practice of team sports that help the interpersonal relationships and the social integration. The equipment was offered by "Jonica football sports clubs” and "Jonica team” associations of the Italian Gaggi (ME) municipality, and by "Corri Catania” association.

The two schools, "Kuvendi The Verrave you Llukes" and "Deshmoret and Vokshit", host about 300 students and 34 teachers.

The commander of the Multinational Battle Group West, Colonel Giovanni Giagheddu, emphasized that: "KFOR pays attention to the local institutions especially to the education of the younger generation that represents the future of Kosovo".
