MULTINATIONAL BATTLEGROUP EAST CONDUCT VALIDATION TRAINING

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Training for Multinational Battle Group-East members heated up as U.S. Army Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, successfully completed fire phobia training at Camp Slim Lines.

The Soldiers partnered with the Kosovo Force’s Tactical Reserve Manoeuvre Battalion, (KTM), to complete the mandatory training.

While Alpha Company, 1-41 Infantry Regiment focused on their individual validation, many MNBG-E subunits benefited from the event. The Portuguese and Hungarian contingents used the exercise as an opportunity to practice crowd riot control techniques.

"This training was very useful, because we learned some new techniques we have not done before,” said U.S. Army Captain Alex Bowling, commander of Alpha Company, 1-41 Infantry Regiment. "We could see how the different KTM partners conduct their CRC actions and now we can work together successfully.”
