MULTINATIONAL BATTLE GROUP WEST TRANSFER OF AUTHORITY CEREMONY

December 09th, 2016. Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W) Change of Command took place today in Villaggio Italia, Pec/ Peja. The ceremony was marked by the authority hand over between Colonel Giovanni Giagheddu and Colonel Stefano Imperia.

KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, presided over the event. During his speech, COMKFOR greeted all attendees and thanked Colonel Giagheddu for the outstanding job in providing security in MNBW-W Area of Operations.

Major General Giovanni Fungo praised all soldiers of MNBG-W, expressing satisfaction and deep appreciation for the excellent results achieved. COMKFOR finally welcomed the incoming commander, Colonel Stefano Imperia, and wished him and his soldiers a successful tour of duty in Kosovo.
